A key figure of the German Enlightenment, Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller, better known as Friedrich Schiller, was a friend and collaborator of Goethe and, together, the two helped birth the movement now known as Weimar Classicism. Schiller's works are myriad, including novels, philosophical treatises, poetry (including the famous Ode to Joy which Beethoven later put to music), translations of Greek tragedies and William Shakespeare into German, and histories.
Entitled Schiller's Werke, this stunning German book presents works by Schiller in stunning script. Written entirely in the original German, this book faithfully recounts works by the famous playwrite, poet, satirist, and philosopher.
Each bears a stunning, aged patina, rich with history. Scrapes, scuffs, and faded coloring consistent with age are present. See pictures for details.
