This is a show-stopper. Bring age, complexity, and beauty to your home. Define a room with this as its anchor. The exact age of this gorgeous antique Swedish Mora clock is unknown, but at its youngest, it is very old indeed, bearing the hand-painted inscription of 1818 or 1816 (the paint has worn off a touch, making the final number difficult to determine). Hand painted a truly convincing faux bois (which, in that era, was often more expensive than using the actual wood, making this extraordinary artisan-detailing something of a status symbol of the time) with love and care in the early nineteenth century over a brilliant indigo which peaks out here and there, giving this one-of-a-kind piece extraordinary character.
